Bassoon Reed Making Instruction

Whether you are starting from tube cane or gouged, shaped, and profiled (GSP) cane, the resources on this site can help you as you learn to make bassoon reeds.

If you are starting from tube cane, start with the Processing Cane section of the site. If you are starting from GSP cane, begin at Forming the Reed. If you are starting with a reed purchased from another maker, start with Finishing the Reed.
